Rory played in the 3 Irish Open at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club where he finished in a tie for 35th.

He put together rounds of 67, 68, 76 and 71 giving him a 282 total, two under par. Eng'and's Ross Fisher won the event on eighteen under par by two shots from Padraig Harrington.

Rory now travels to Akron in Ohio where he plays in the WGC - Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club.
