Chloe Fleming

Hi Chloe, I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to the Ryder Cup - it's going to be so exciting! The draw for the Dunhill Links Championship isn't done until the beginning of the week of the event so I don't know which course I'll be playing first. Cheers, Rory.

Hey Rory, fantastic job at the PGA Championships! I have a quick question, what's the difference between Northern Ireland and Ireland? Take care, lots of love and support from Canada.

Yebin Chung

Hi Yebin, thanks for the interesting question. Ireland and Northern Ireland are parts of the same island. Though they are part of the same island, these two are different in their religious and political views. First of all, when comparing the geography, Ireland is much larger than Northern Ireland. Ireland, which is also known as ‘Republic of Ireland’ is considered a sovereign nation and its capital is Dublin. Ireland covers about five-sixth of the island. Well, Northern Ireland is considered to be a part of UK and its capital is Belfast. Ireland consists of 26 counties and Northern Ireland comprises of only six counties. I think that just about covers it! All the best, Rory.

Rory, I am a big fan of yours and love your swing. What is your favourite course in the U.S.??? Cian, 13.

Cian O'Regan

Hi Cian, my favourite course in the US has to be Quail Hollow! Cheers, Rory.

Hi Rory, I am 14 and i am playing of a 6 handicap and I just cant seem to get any lower and I was wondering could you give me a tip on how to get to a lower handicap? Good luck

Darren Fitzsimons

Hi Darren, well done on getting down to six which is really good. To get your handicap down lower practice your shots from 100 yards and in as being tight in this area can really lower your scoring. All the best, Rory.

Rory, You have been such a delight to watch play golf. I started when I was 8 years old and at 61, and with an artifical hip, I still play. I still hit the driver 240 on the fly! Not bad for an old man! Anyway, your style, personality, and manner you conduct yourself is a pleasure and badly needed. I applaud you and wish you many wins in the future. Finally, my Grandmother's maiden name was McIlroy - who knows? Good Luck and keep up the hard work. John, conway, South Carolina, USA

John Orr

Hi John, thanks so much for the message and good on you with your new hip and still ripping it! You obviously come from very good stock! Cheers, Rory.
